Mahakaleshwar Temple, Ujjain

14 – 03 – 2024

I went to Rewa station with my sister and grandmother. For that we paid ₹110 to go from Rathara Bypass to Rewa Station.

My sister ordered me to download a movie and since I had no wifi, I had to rely on the unlimited data VI gives from 12 – 6 am.

At 11 pm Mayank called and we started making our future travel plans. This helped to pass some time without falling asleep..

At 12 I initiated downloading a movie based on Article 370 and I slept. Since I was on the train , I woke up every time something happened like when the train stopped, Passengers boarded or someone made a sound. I would then check my belongings and again sleep.

While coming to Ujjain to my surprise I saw the Union Carbide Factory at Bhopal. It’s my dream to go there.

At 11:15 a.m. the train halted at Ujjain junction and we deboarded the train.

We gave ₹50 to an auto to get to Mahakaleshwar temple.

On the way I found out that there is no proper place to take a bath at the temple. The auto wala suggested we go to the Shipra River to take a bath.

On his suggestion we came to the river and then started looking for a room for us three.

I also saw a movie shooting for the first time at Shipra River.

I was feeling hungry so I ate two samosas that were ₹5 each, pretty cheap.

I then looked for a few rooms that ranged between ₹600 – ₹800, and finally selected one. We got in the house and after some time my sister along with my grandmother and I went to the Shipra River. They wetted themself and went back to the room.

I stayed there and played with the Shipra River for more than ½ hour until I was satisfied. I was literally drowning at a few instances as the floor was very slippery.

After I came I took a bath in the room as the water of the river was dirty. Then I started editing and posting a few blogs on WordPress and my sister along with my grandmother went to Mahakaleshwar Temple which was only 300 metres away.

They came after a couple of hours until I worked on my thing. They came and I left. Firstly I ate a plate for ₹100 which included 5 roti, rice, dal, vegetable, pickle and curry.

It was awesome and I was satisfied.

After that I randomly walked for some time and then went to the temple. It took me about an hour to see the real thing.

Also, I had my book coming today so I went ahead and got my book “Think and Grow rich” . I also ate ₹20 Kulfi on the way.

After that I was a bit lost because of the lanes but since I knew the river, I was able to locate the place. I revisited the same place to eat and I again paid ₹100.

This time I took extra and ate and after that I was literally looking for Hajmola.

I then ate Pani Puri which was pretty costly ₹20 for 6 and then I came to the room.

It’s 9:18 pm now and I am writing this blog and will edit it and post it.

We have now plans to go to Bhopal tomorrow.

A new adventure awaits.
