As Per Bhagavad Geeta, in Hinduism ( or Sanatan dharma) consuming meat is prohibited. Yet majority of the so called Hindus eat meat.
Even consuming Alcohol is a sin as per Geeta. Needless to say a good amount of Hindus in the tier-1 cities consume alcohol.

The cow is sacred and is compared with mother. And you what – a good amount of people in the south and north-east India consume beef.
In Hinduism there are unsaid rules on not consuming meat on some specific days & festivals. Why is it so ? Won’t the animal feel pain and terror on some specific days.

Not going in some specific direction, Not trimming nails and hairs in some specific days. Isn’t it a superstition.
Joining a gang like Bajrang dal shouting “Jai Shree Ram” and terrorizing couples and people of other religions and being a Hindu at the same time. Isn’t it hypocrisy ?

My question is who makes all these rules ? Who is the Ideal hindu to follow ? Hindus don’t even follow Bhagavad Geeta. So, who does one believe ? Everyone has their own set of rules that serves their own purpose.

And if killing an animal, eating it just for taste, terrorizing people and following all these superstitions is accepted in this religion. It’s better that i don’t call myself a Hindu.
