Ah I’m too excited to write my second blog.

Let’s get this party started.

Well, my grandma had her cataract surgery at AB Eye Hospital in Patna on February 16th 2023, and the doctor said us to come again for a checkup on March 3rd 2023.

Well, yesterday was March 3rd, and I was really excited since I knew that I would be travelling with my Grandmother alone, without the supervision of my parents.

I woke up at 4:00 a.m. to wake up my grandma, but I was surprised to discover that she had waked before me and was brushing her teeth.

Following that, we got dressed and in notime we were at the station at 4:40 a.m.

We reached bettiah station and i bought 2 train tickets for Hajipur that costed me ₹75*2 = ₹150 .

I also clicked a few people sleeping on the station floor.🥺

At 4:50 A.M. also the station was too much crowded. I think the people of Bettiah are now waking up too early.

The train arrived on time, and as soon as it arrived at the station, my grandma and I jumped in, certain that we would be able to find a seat without difficulty. However, as soon as we boarded, we were proven incorrect.

The train was crowded, but because my grandmother was a senior citizen ( 81 years ), the people gave us seat by adjusting slightly.

After getting on the train i started my day with a cup of lemon tea worth ₹10 .

The train began to move, and more passengers crammed inside.

I noticed someone standing and gave him my seat.

The train then halted at Muzzafarpur Junction for around 25 minutes so, I hopped off the train to fill my never filling tummy .

There I ate a ₹10 cucumber. Pretty healthy start umm. Wait….. and watch

I then took ₹20  lai – Chana and then as per my Grandmother’s request I bought a ₹10 biscuit for her .

This is that ₹10 Bourbon biscuit.

The time wasn’t passing so, i started clicking photos of the station.

Obviously, after eating that much, I became thirsty, so I began seeking for water and discovered one shop. I requested water from him, and the jerk said me that it was 20 rupees while it was clearly written that it was of rupees 15. Well it’s not about a few bucks but it’s about cheating, they get a commission even on that 15 rupee water bottle.

A photo of that shop is included below.

After roaming a bit, the thirsty met water for ₹15.

And this is me putting leg on a pipe parallel to the still train. Crazy me.

The train gradually proceeded and we arrived at our destination, Hajipur.

We arrived and, of course, had to taste the world-famous Hajipur bananas, which costed ₹20 for 10 pieces.

Also i clicked a picture of this dog from Hajipur.

After exiting the train, we began looking for an auto that could take us to Bahadurpur Gumti, near Rajendra Nagar in Patna.

As we left the station, I noticed for the first-time, drivers competing intensely for passengers. My grandmother and I were snatched from one driver to another, and I was completely taken aback by the experience. So, we got into an auto whose driver agreed to take us for ₹40*2. There was also an ear cleaner who began cleaning my ear, but the auto was about to leave, so I had to leave. He was charging forty rupees for both ears. I really wanted to get my ear cleaned but sadly couldn’t get it done.

Now I was inside the auto, cruising through Hajipur’s never-ending banana plantations, positive breathtaking views of the Ganges, large shops, apartments, societies, giant flyovers, and construction sites in Patna. All breathtaking as I am from a tier 3 city and everything here was a bit new to me.

I was constantly checking Google Maps, but due to some confusion, the driver took us ahead of bahadurpur gumti, resulting in a small fight between me and the driver.

We took another Auto for 15*2 that drove us to our destination at Bahadurpur Gumti.

We went there and then began looking for the hospital. Google Maps was also unable to provide an accurate location, but because my grandmother had previously visited here, we arrived at the hospital after some facing some difficulty.

I then went to the reception area and gave the receptionist the documents I had and said my grandmother to wait at the reception area I then went outside for some quick lunch.

I ate little chokha for ₹15. Indeed it was worth it.

and a ₹5 lays.

And this is me.

So, within a couple of hours my grandmother got examined and then we came out of the hospital she ate some typical chawal-daal-sabzi worth ₹40 and I ate 2  samosas for ₹20.

Here is my review for AB Eye Institute, Patna.

After filling up my stomach I came up with a plan of visiting Hanuman Mandir at Patna Junction as our train was to start from Patliputra Junction after sometime and we got some buffertime.

When I went ahead a poor girl came to me begging, so I gave her a ₹20 note and that made me question that we shout even when there is less salt in our food and there is someone who don’t even know that if they will get something to eat today or not nevertheless we took an Auto for ₹15*2 to Patna Junction.

Watch the girl here.

I immediately made my grandmother sit on a train that was leaving from Patna Junction to Patliputra Junction, and I hurried to Hanuman Mandir Patna, where I begged for blessings for my friends and purchased Naivedam ( most sold prasad after Tirupati Balaji )

Following that, I rushed towards our train, which was due to depart in a few minutes, and at the station, I replenished my 1L water bottle just for ₹5 that I had purchased for ₹15 at Muzzafarpur Junction, as well as a cucumber for ₹10 that my grandma and I devoured.

I then clicked this unsual track which was in contact with Main Road and was running parallel to it.

Within ½hour we were at Patliputra Junction where our train was waiting for us .

I placed my grandmother in the train and then went to explore the station because about 1 hour were remaining for the train to start.

I asked a seller for frooti at the station. The package clearly said that it was ₹15, but he was charging ₹5 extra as cooling cost.

I said him that if he provides me with the bill, I would pay him ₹20. He then urged me to pay just ₹15 as I spoke these remarks.

I was also debating confidently with him because I had a similar past encounter with a bill for which I filed a complaint with railways.

Following that, I found out that Patliputra Junction has an escalator, and you know what a middle-class lad does when he sees one.

Yeah!! You guessed it, I went up & down till my spirit was pleased.

Our train then started at 5:10 and i got in .

I don’t know why but I was exploring all the stations where the train stopped.

At one of the station I again ate Chana-lai and a ₹10 chips .

At this point of time a poor girl with a boy in her lap came to me begging so i purchased ₹10*2 chips for them and continued my journey. Watch here.

After passing a few stations I again felt hungry so i ate litti-pakoda for ₹20 .

And again ₹10 chana .

After a journey full of excitement and tiredness we were finally at bettiah station. We took an Auto gave him ₹10*2, and we were at our home.

Below is my Google Maps timeline.
